PiL grows in Europe by acquiring the German group Spittler
Performance in Lighting announced the acquisition of 74,9% of the shares of Spittler, a German group active in the production, assembly and distribution of internal lighting equipments, from its shareholders Gerhard Spittler and Jörg Steinmetz.
Giorgio Lodi, president and CEO of Performance in Lighting declared: “With the acquisition of Spittler, we significantly strengthen our footprint in the German market and we will improve our offer in the indoor lighting segment by adding Spittler’s product lines to the existing ones.
With this acquisition, the group today is able to offer lighting solutions for any kind of project, from urban lighting to park and garden lighting, lights for industrial equipments, for outdoor spaces, big sports and industrial areas, and indoor lighting for residential or business environments”.
Spittler’s top managers will remain close to the new shareholders to support the industrial plan of the company, as part of the European development project of Performance in Lighting.
